Cape Fear Clinic provides medical, dental, mental health and pharmacy services to residents of Brunswick,
Columbus, New Hanover and Pender counties who make less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and have no health insurance
or government health assistance.
Cape Fear Clinic is looking for volunteer RNs and LPNs who can document patient
histories; preform physical and mental assessments; order pre-treatment testing; perform minor med-surg procedures; and provide
patient education.
Just four hours a week, Monday through Friday, from 8AM to 12PM or 12PM to 4PM could have an
immense impact on our ability to serve our patients.
This opportunity is ideal for:
-Refresher
nurses wanting to maintain skills while seeking employment
-Retired nurses seeking to stay connected without the obligations
of a job
-Employed nurses considering a transition to the sub-acute, clinical setting
This may be a great
place for you if you're interested in:
-Forging new professional contacts
-Maintaining and increasing
basic nursing skills
-Broadening your resume
-Restoring health and hope to those we serve
-Making new friends
